Ashley is a sociologist whose research focuses on social user experiences on digital platforms and digital meme culture.

She is a mixed methods researcher with over a decade of experience with focuses on social network analysis and statistical methods in addition to qualitative approaches of comparative content analysis, survey research, and in-depth interviews.

In addition to her own research projects, she has served as a graduate student instructor for 6 years, focusing on probability and statistics instruction for 3 years.
